ABOUT Very simple ROMpler with just a very little sound tweaking parameters. It is a bit better than the U-110 because it allows access to the envelope (ADSR) and has 4 PCM Slots for more sounds
ABOUT Sehr simpler Presetracksynth ohne viele Eingriffsmöglichkeiten. Er hat gegenüber dem sehr rudimentären U110 immerhin Zugriff auf die Hüllkurve in ADSR Form und 4 PCM Karten passen rein (mehr als im U-110)

DETAILS Nothing special, really. Uses 32kHz Samples in ROM (4MB). Well, it's basically the LA-Synthesis like the D-50 under the hood here, but to be honest: You can not access it. there is only ADSR, LFO stuff and some pitch mod and velocity. thats what I call a preset synth.
DETAILS 32kHz-ROM Samples (4MB), echt nichts besonderes. Eigentlich ist er ein LA-Synthesizer im Stile des D50 mit Layerstruktur, jedoch kann man hier nicht darauf zugreifen und der User kann nicht viel mehr als LFOs, ADSR und ein paar Velocity-Sachen einstellen. Also: Presetschleuder.

Roland was founded in 1972 by Ikutaro Kakehasi, Japan (prior companies: ace (drum machines and electronic organs and kakehashi musen), first synthesizer: 1972 - Mr. Kakehashis biography is available as a book from Robert Olsen.
