ABOUT Like Morpheus but "natural sound ROM" and filters that help to filter those pianos and stuff - Emu developped the "z-plane" filter concept with 14pole filters, not user configureable but lots of filter types, all got 3 parameters (transform morphs the slope or other things..) also 2 very complex envelopes..
ABOUT Wie Morpheus, aber mit "natur ROM Material" und mehr Filtermodellen, die dazu passen Emu entwickelte das "Z-Plane"-filter konzept, letzlich ein mehrpoliges Filtersystem bis 14-Pol, dabei gibt es 3 Parameter (Transform, Cut, Reso), Transform verändert Flankensteilheit oder andere Dinge. Sehr viele fertige Filtermodelle, 2 8stufige aufwendige Hüllkurven.

DETAILS you can set start/loop etc freely in the samples, very complex envelopes and filters, special chaos modes for ENVs jumps and lots more, loopable also - surely the coolest envelopes ever made in a synth. modmatrix, FX: yes, but bad FX intergration.
DETAILS sehr aufwendige hüllkurven und filter, im rom material kann man beliebig herumfahren, spezielle chaos modes in den ENVs, BEdingte Sprünge und loopbar, das aufwendigste, was es bisher gab in hardware. modmatrix. FX, aber keine gute einbindung.

Once very innovative in modular systems incl. new digital technologies and the very well known Emulator Sampler series and Sample libraries bought Ensoniq (incl their polypressure patent, but do not even sell keyboards with polypressure today..)
well, they were bought by Creative Labs and possibly thats why they no longer make hardware samplers or synthesizers and lost their compatibelity to the Mac. so overall a sad ending story of a very innovative american dream.

THE MANUFACTURER
Emu waren der Erfinder sehr innovativer Modularsysteme mit ersten digitalen Komponenten, der Emulator Sampler Reihe und kaufte die ebenso innovativee Firma Ensoniq und wurden später von Creative Labs übernommen und verkaufen leider heute weder die polypressure Technik von Ensoniq noch Hardware Sampler oder Synthesizer. Sie waren nicht nur legendär, sondern waren auch für eine gute Klangbibliothek bekannt und sehr Mac-freundlich. Das ist heute anders, keines der Prdukte heute ist Mactauglich. Sehr traurige Entwicklung aus Sicht eines Synthesizer oder Mac-Nutzers.
